Jane Haskin joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Oklahoma City Branch Board of Directors in 2014. She is President and Chief Executive Officer of First Bethany Bank & Trust where she has been employed for the past nine years. She has over 37 years of banking experience and is a certified public accountant. Ms. Haskin is a 1978 graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and a 1994 graduate of the Jack Conn Graduate Banking School at Oklahoma City University.
Ms. Haskin is currently Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s, and a board member of Meta Fund, Oklahoma City, a private equity firm that targets financial, social and environmental returns on investment through ownership and/or tax credit facilitation. She is also a Member of the American Bankers Association Card Solutions Board, the Oklahoma Bankers Association Board and a member of the FDIC’s Community Bank Advisory Council in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Haskin has a passion for teaching financial literacy and has taught Junior Achievement classes in numerous schools in Oklahoma City for the past 30 years. She has previously served as board chair and was the winner of Junior Achievement’s National Gold Award for Service. Ms. Haskin also received the 2012 Outstanding CPA in Industry Award from the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s.
Ms. Haskin has also served as past president of the Northwest Chamber of Commerce, the University of Central Oklahoma Alumni Association, and Chair of the Oklahoma Bankers Association.
Ms. Haskin has been married to her husband Michael for the past 38 years and has one daughter, Sarah, who is employed as a CPA in Salt Lake City, Utah.
