Chamber urges #ShopSmall with #ReindeerRoadshow

Because there are so many small businesses across our community, the NWOKC Chamber is celebrating #SmallBizSaturday again on Saturday December 3 and encouraging shoppers to visit and support these independent, locally owned businesses.

To increase activity and add to the awareness, the chamber is holding a series of “Pop-up Parties” at these locations this Saturday:

10:15 AM – Cole Community Center, 4400 NW Expressway (Behind OKC First Nazarene Church)  – Christmas Crafts Bazaar
11:30 AM – Decades Revisited – 3639 NW 39th Street,  (NW 39th & Portland)
12:30 PM – Feathered Nest Market – 6353 N. MacArthur, Warr Acres  (NW 63rd & MacArthur)
1:30 PM – Downtown Bethany –  NW 39th Expressway & College Ave, Bethany
Participating Merchants:   Comingdeer Studio,  Bethany Antique Mall, Splurge, Stray Dog Cafe, Treasure Chest on Rt 66, Norma Jean’s Heirloom Jewelry, & Appletree Anitque Gallery
3:00 PM – Eden Antique Emporium – 8312 NW 39th Expressway,  Bethany, (39th West of Council)

At each stop people will have an opportunity to play a few “reindeer games” and win prizes of Gift Certificates for participating small businesses. The chamber is utilizing Social Media to Live-Stream the Videos.

“This is a fun way to provide a little incentive and reward for the people who are making an effort to #Shop Small,” said Lawrence Ross, the Chamber’s Small Business Chairman.  Ross owns an IT Consulting Small Business.
