Ceremonies are important in marking transformative moments of life. Graduations, weddings, funerals, and birthdays each have specific customs that symbolically recognize those occasions usually surrounded with important people, food, and photographs.

In the life of a business, the symbolic touchstone is a Ribbon Cutting Celebration.  It is that moment to remember representing the hopes and dreams for the business and bringing together those that will be a part of supporting this business for the work to come.

Ribbon Cuttings can be as simple or elaborate as the business wants it to be.

At the Northwest OKC Chamber we work with each business to help them meet their goals and enjoy the event with the people they care most about.  We help find an optimal time and arrange basic details.

Some organizations have a blueprint and just want us to show up with the ribbon and scissors, others want more assistance with coordinating an agenda and things to think about like parking, and the location for the photo.

We always encourage businesses to have some refreshments and prizes and perhaps some swag to give to all attendees.

It's great in the week ahead to stop in and invite neighboring businesses and any potential referral partners in addition to current vendors, clients, and of course, friends and family.

At the Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber, a ribbon cutting is included with your membership investment.  Depending on the investment level, we provide differing options of pre and post event promotion.

With the Core Member Ribbon Cutting, we post the event on the Chamber calendar on the website and the chamber's calendar email blast, so it also shows up on the Community App.  We send a calendar invite to the Chamber Board and Ambassadors.  On the day of the event we come with the scissors and ribbon and take photos and share some online after the event.

The Classic Partner Membership includes the PREMIUM RIBBON CUTTING which includes a set of member mailing labels so that you can send out invitations to the entire membership, and a Face-Book Live Video of your ribbon Cutting, which is shared & liked well beyond the date.

With the Growth Developer, the RED CARPET RIBBON CUTTING includes the above, PLUS the Chamber invites local elected officials, a boosted social media post about the business, and a special ribbon cutting keepsake plaque.

We also have Ribbon Cutting Options available for businesses with no physical location and can work with you in just about any situation.
